On December 14, the Young IMA, supported by Russian Arbitration Center at Russian Institute of Modern Arbitration, held a meeting to present its updated co-chair composition for the 2024-2026 term.
The new co-chairs are Dmitry Bayandin (counsel in the dispute resolution practice at E L W I), Ellina Izotkina, FCIArb (senior associate of International Disputes Practice at Level Legal Services), Boris Glushenkov (senior associate at Stonebridge Legal), Dmitry Ilin (partner at ILIN | ILIN), and Ksenia Stepanova (lecturer at the Department of Private International and Civil Law, Faculty of International Law, MGIMO Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia).
During the meeting, the co-chairs discussed their goals for the near future: promoting international commercial arbitration in Russia, fostering dialogue between emerging and established professionals in alternative dispute resolution, and supporting young specialists interested in international commercial arbitration.
The modernized committees within the Young IMA were introduced, focusing on Asia Arbitration, Investment Arbitration, Construction and Energy Arbitration, and Criminal Issues in Arbitration.
Additionally, Natalia Kisliakova, head of the Sports Arbitration Committee and a specialist in cross-border disputes and international litigation at the law firm PB Legal, shared plans for collaboration with international sports associations and the creation of a student competition on sports dispute arbitration.
