On 31 May 2019, the Far Eastern Federal University hosted a seminar - "The Legal Profession and Dispute Resolution in Japan and Russia".
The speakers were Andrey Gorlenko (RAC Executive Administrator) and Kie Matsushima (Associate at Anderson Mori & Tomotsune)
The speakers discussed the following issues:
- The Legal Profession in Japan: Different Categories and Status of Representative in Court and Arbitration.
- Arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution methods as a means to remedy infringed rights of business entities.
The event was supported by the Far Eastern Federal University, Russian Arbitration Center, Young IMA and the law firm Anderson Mori & Tomotsune.
