Saint Petersburg International Legal Forum 2019 | East-West: Key Trends in Russian Disputes Abroad

On 15 May 2019, an interactive discussion of the hottest topics concerning resolution of Russian disputes aborad took place with an opportunity to enjoy a gastronomic experience at a great location.

The discussion feautured three parallel round tables chaired by experienced moderators. Each session lasted 25 minutes, and, at the end of the discussion, moderators provided a summary and highlighted the most interesting ideas.

Topics included:

• Interaction between foreign arbitration / litigation and domestic criminal proceedings: problems and solutions;
• Russian disputes as seen from abroad (perception of Russian parties and their arguments before foreign courts and arbitral tribunals);
• Strategic choices of Russian parties in international dispute resolution.
