Fireside Chat: Special Discussion on the Eve of 28th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot

On 24 March, on the eve of 28th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, the Russian Institute of Modern Arbitration together with UNCITRAL and Young IMA held a Fireside Chat.

In an ever-changing world, every arbitration practitioner naturally tends to think about the future of international arbitration. Before the unfortunate events of 2020, this exercise had often resulted in almost a bright and intuitive image. It is different today: we are at the crossroads with a clouded perspective on the future. More than ever, the international community is searching for the proper tools to address the stakeholders’ needs better. Our distinguished speakers discussed emerging trends and how they influence international arbitration’s further development.
