Young IMA aims to support the participation of young legal practitioners as arbitrators in real arbitration proceedings.
Young arbitrators can bring a fresh perspective and innovative approach to arbitration. Young legal practitioners have knowledge of new technologies and follow modern global trends in alternative dispute resolution. Young arbitrators play an important role in building trust in arbitration among the new generation of lawyers and arbitration users. According to the Russian Arbitration Center's report for 2023, 40% of arbitrators appointed were under the age of 45.
The Russian Arbitration Center provides Young IMA with information on appointments of Young IMA members as arbitrators in cases administered by RAC. Information on appointments is published with the consent of the arbitrators.
